Guidelines developed for finance service stakeholders providing financial education in schools

The Department of Finance and the Department of Education have jointly developed Guidelines for Financial Service Industry Stakeholders Providing Financial Education in Schools (the Guidelines).

The Guidelines provide the basis for both primary and post-primary schools and financial service providers to form quality, inclusive and relevant educational links, aimed at improving financial literacy, financial resilience and overall financial wellbeing for children and young people.

The Guidelines are available here and the Department of Finance will conduct an evaluation of their efficacy in the lifetime of the Strategy.
